First Alert was acquired by Resideo in 2022 and is a well-known and trusted brand* in North America. With a strong track record of high-quality products, select connectivity options, and over 60 years of experience developing advanced safety innovations, First Alert products are helping deliver technology-driven installations tailored to the needs of the customers of professional installers.

The First Alert ProSeries platform, designed for both residential and light commercial use, offers scalability and adaptability with one platform, two hubs, two monitoring options, and over 40 peripheral options. The latest ProSeries developments include:

  • Compatibility with Videofied systems: Installers can use the PROBOX-EU control panel and/or the PROAIOPLUS-EU touchscreen control panel to upgrade an existing Videofied security system. This helps save time and retain customers as part of the transition away from 2G, which is being switched off in the UK over the coming years.
  • Easy for homeowners to use and installers to program: The most recent ProSeries control panel introduction is the PROAIOPLUS-EU, which offers a small but powerful central control hub with an intuitive 7-inch touchscreen for end users. It is designed to be programed locally and is easy to use; the panel is also ideal for those who want to self-monitor.
